Glucagon Like Peptide 1
胰高血糖素样肽1(GLP-1)是一种30或31个氨基酸长的肽类激素。它由肠道内分泌L细胞和脑干孤束核内的某些神经元在食用食物时产生和分泌。最初的产物GLP-1(1-37)容易被酰胺化和蛋白裂解,从而产生两个截断的和等价的生物活性形式,即GLP-1(7-36)酰胺和GLP-1(7-37)。活跃的GLP-1由两个α-螺旋组成,分别位于13-20和24-35的氨基酸位置,由一个连接区分开。与葡萄糖依赖性胰岛素促进肽(GIP)一样,它也是一种增加剂;因此,它能够通过增强胰岛素的分泌,以葡萄糖依赖的方式降低血糖水平。除了促进胰岛素的作用,GLP-1还与许多调节和保护作用有关。
可检测样本中小鼠的GLP-1,且与其类似物无明显交叉反应。
